We use these durable shopping bags in our showroom daily. They are great conversation starters, and our customers love them, as they support a worthy cause while reducing waste. Produced exclusively for Artefact, they are the product of a project started by Dave Allen in 2008 to support a small village in the highlands of Bali. Available in three sizes, we can now provide these bags on an ongoing basis to a limited number of retailers.  Each is hand made from completely recycled materials; newspapers collected from local businesses, handles made from hand-twisted banana stalk fibres, recycled paperboard reinforcing. The glue is a local whitewashing paste.
